About Bad Dog Photography 

Hello!

 

I'm Chris Mayer, founder of Bad Dog Photography. For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for photography, so much so that my parents bought me a small film camera when I was a child. I used it every chance I could get.

I purchased my first digital camera in 2012 and got to work! I practiced my craft purely as a hobby, but it taught me a lot about being a photographer and finding my likes, dislikes, and style.

In 2018 I started to learn photo editing using Adobe Lightroom. This became a new and welcome step in my creative process and my evolution as an artist. 

 

 In 2021 I decided it was time to make a go at being a professional, so I started Bad Dog Photography. This is a dream I've had since I was a teenager. The years I've spent honing my craft have developed my style as an artist, going for a high contrast and vibrant look to my photos.
